I’m Nina Thauer and I’m 19 years old from Chicago, Illinois.  I have always had the passion for the game of golf.  From being on my middle school team, playing in outside tournaments and moving up to being a part of my high school team, I have always had golf in my life.

By being able to help my teammates in events, that was personally gratifying…when you know someone is looking for you to help win.  Because I, unfortunately, had people that did not believe I could go further in golf I decided to make a big decision at a young age, I wanted to show people that I could expand my passion for the game and be successful in the golf industry.

In attending the Golf Academy of America I was starting to follow my dreams of being a Golf Professional.  Being a coach with Little Linksters opened my eyes to the fact that I wanted to become a teacher.  I’ll be Graduating from the Golf Academy in December of 2017 and even prior to this, I was hired on as an Assistant Professional at LPGA International.

This was a big step in my future and a new beginning in my journey in the golf business.  I will continue to be a Little Linksters Coach going forward and I can truly say that this will always be a part of me and who I am. Thanks Brendon for giving me this opportunity!
